FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Light- to medium-weight stretch knit fabrics, such as cotton jersey, viscose jersey or wool jersey. Check that the fabric can be stretched crosswise at least 25% wider than its original width.

- Fabric – TOP: SIZES 1-4: 1.6m (1 3/4 yards) x 150cm (60in) or 115cm (45in) OR SIZES 5-8: 1.6m (1 3/4 yards) x 150cm (60in) OR 2.4m (2 5/8 yards) x 115cm (45in)
DRESS: SIZES 1-4: 2m (2 1/4 yards) x 150cm (60in) or 115cm (45in) OR SIZES 5-8: 2m (2 1/4 yards) x 150cm (60in) OR 3.2m (3 1/2 yards) x 115cm (45in) - Matching thread
- 25cm (10in) x 6-8mm (1/4in) wide clear elastic, ribbon or stay tape to stabilise the shoulders
- For ruched neckline version: 10cm (4in) x 5mm (1/8 - 1/4in) wide woven or braided elastic
- For drawstring version: Large safety pin
- Ballpoint or stretch needle for your sewing machine
- Sewing machine and basic tools (a rotary cutter and mat are useful)
